Newton has stated the laws of motion that we all recognize. These laws were written way back to explain physics. However, it made me think that the third law is quite relevant to all aspects of life. Newton’s third law states that When a first body exerts a force F1 on a second body, the second body simultaneously exerts a force F2 = −F1 on the first body. This means that F1 and F2 are equal in magnitude and opposite in direction, as defined on Wikipedia. In simple terms, Every Action causes some Reaction.
We perform several actions in our lifetime that affect us as well as people around us. It could be a simple act of smiling in front of someone, handing out alms to beggars, hanging out with friends, etc. Sometimes we don’t realize how our action today will come and bite us in the future. Cheating on our loved ones, hanging out with wrong set of friends, ignoring studies and procrastinating project work are some examples that we might have fun in short duration but with the bigger picture it might cause pain and anguish. It is funny that humans live in the moment, as some claim, not realizing that there is no such thing as living in the moment. Our actions from every moment reciprocate through out our lives. It is just like a ripple that we create and it keeps causing turbulence.
May I be able to perform actions that affect others positively and spread happiness.
